“I first entered the eyecare profession as an optician; however, I soon had dreams of becoming an optometrist and a practice owner. I went on to study at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and during school and in the early years after graduation, I took every opportunity I could to learn about private practice entrepreneurship, including reading books and attending professional conferences. I was excited by the opportunity of practice ownership and knew it would be the best match for my personality after years of working for other doctors.”
