Cathy Uimari, CPB, CPC, joins the team to provide individualized billing and coding support and revenue optimization strategy to private practices. The expansion comes as PECAA notes an increased focus from its members on maximizing operational efficiency and also reflects the growing number of practices taking advantage of PECAA’s advisory services following the company’s record growth this year.

From her many roles in eye care and health care, Uimari brings a wealth of experience in revenue cycle management, billing and accounts receivable. With certifications as a Certified Professional Biller and Certified Professional Coder, she has a proven track record of ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency in healthcare billing processes. Uimari joins PECAA as the newest billing and coding advisor, along with Teri Thurston and Dianne Boulay, CPOC.
